dev-python/consonance has been broken since at least 2024. Contrary to PYTHON_COMPAT, the code is incompatible with Python 3.12+. The protobuf file needs to be rebuilt, yet upstream never published its source. No upstream activity since 2021. No reverse dependencies. Including a bunch of dead NIH dependencies. Removal on 2026-10-05. Bug #926610.
